Celtic Fire is my first S. Lawrence book and all I can say is what an amazing book this is!Aislin is a fiery woman who lost her mother to cancer 15 years ago, on her 25th birthday her Aunt Joy gives her a box which contains a letter from her mother and also a trip to Scotland so she can follow the itinerary that her mother and Aunt Joy took when they traveled to Scotland.
Aislin is definitely excited to go, to follow the path and to search for her unknown father. What she doesn't know is that she's in danger being followed by a dangerous man who's part of an old social group. During her trip she will meet a man who's golden's voice enthralls her and 4 hot men who are not who they seem.
This story is amazing beyond all mean. It starts off a little slow but the build up is absolutely fantastic. The chemistry between Aislin and the mysterious Kai is sizzling. The interactions of all the characters kept me highly entertained! I loved the interactions, the great story line. There's action, hot scenes, twist and turns and sadness. The cliffhanger is driving me crazy! I can't wait to read the 2nd book of the Guardians series!

Celtic Fire was beyond my expectations. The story was very well thought out and the author did an amazing job connecting us to her characters. I just loved this story and cannot wait to read more by this author. The is a must read story!
This book.....I just didn't get the MC reactions. Spoiler***She was sexually assaulted then feel in deep love two days later. What?! I guess I just couldn't get past that part of the book. Everything else was ok. The other characters were cool, but the insta love, nah, badly done. Sorry.
So a really good friend told me about this book more than once. I’m not sure why I hesitated so long, but she was right, it was amazing! I loved the mix of history and romance. There are a few intense scenes, but it all falls together in the end. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series!
Okay, just for the record I am not the English police. I leave that to my friend Amanda. Story line was great and it held my interest until I started to come across grammar issues. More along the lines of words being left out. But back to the story line. I have a love for dragons so this was right up my alley.
I could read this story over and over and over again. It is a wonderful story the way the author has written it. You will automatically fall in love with each character in the story but I must warn you to have at least one full and I mean FULL box of tissues on hand while reading it. You will feel each section of this story with your heart and soul while reading this story! Read only while you will not be interupted because you are liable to get upset with whomever interupt 's you.
When I first opened the book, I was instantly captivated by the lead character, Aislin. Aislin pulled me into her story and kept me running with her through the whole book. The relationship between her and her mom was so strong, that I cried when she cried and was happy when she was happy. This story is a road of excitement, danger, passion, and love. It shows how love can conquer many things. When a person becomes broken, you become afraid with them, hoping they find the way out; afraid that things may never change. This is such an exciting new book and I cannot wait for the next story. Every character pulls you in to the type of person that they are inside. Each one of them, I hope, will have their own story. I would definitely read every single one. Ms. Lawrence is a great new find! More please! ❤
Celtic Fire isn't a book that I would normally read, but I am so, so glad I read this book! Aislin is a strong woman that has suffered the loss of her mother at a young age. She is now an adult and her Aunt Joy gives her a wooden box from her mom. Aunt Joy also gives her a trip to Scotland so she can have an adventure and man what an adventure it is. When she gets to Scotland, she's hoping to meet her father. She never thought she'd meet her soulmate/her destiny, Kai. This book will suck you in from the very beginning. Ms. Lawrence has written a beautiful, emotional book that I would recommend to everyone. I can't wait to read more from this new author. I know Emma and Jason's story is going to be worth the wait.
